4 Zinc and nickel hydroxides (Zn(OH)2) and (Ni(OH)2) dissolve well in aqueous ammonia to form complex compounds – ammoniates; the coordination number of Zn2 is 4, and that of Ni2 is 6. Write the corresponding ammoniates and name them. Write the equations of primary and secondary dissociation and expressions for the instability constants of complex ions.
