3. Nickel (II) from a 100.0 ml aqueous solution is extracted in the form of dimethylglyoximate with 10 ml of chloroform and diluted to 20.0 ml with chloroform. From the resulting solution, 5.00 ml aliquots are photometered using the addition method. Calculate the mass of nickel (II) in solution if the optical densities of the extracts with and without the addition of 20 μg of nickel are 0.48 and 0.23, respectively.
