Helmholtz rings are two flat thin coils arranged as shown in Fig. 27.6. By comparing the magnetic field strength at the center of each ring and at the midpoint on the axis, show that inside the Helmholtz rings the magnetic field is close to uniform. Set the distance between the coils equal to half the radius.
