Two types of linear vibrations of the CO2 molecule are possible: a) the carbon nucleus is motionless, and the oxygen nuclei move in opposite directions, and b) the oxygen nuclei move at the same speeds towards the carbon nucleus (figure). Find the ratio of the frequencies of these oscillations.
