A homogeneous round rubber band of length l and diameter D is placed in a steel tube with a closed end of the same diameter (figure). A force F begins to act on the end of the bundle from the open end of the tube, uniformly distributed over the entire cross-section of the bundle. How much will the length of the harness decrease? The elastic properties of rubber are considered known.
