A similar but smaller wedge BED of mass m is placed on a rectangular triangular wedge ABC of mass M, lying on an absolutely smooth horizontal plane (figure). Determine by what distance x the large wedge will move to the left when the small wedge slides down and takes such a position that point D aligns with C. The lengths of the legs AC and BE are equal to a and b, respectively.
