A square closed coil of wire, side length L, and resistance unit length p, passes at a constant speed v between the shoes of an electromagnet, creating a uniform magnetic field with intensity H (Fig. 131). The longitudinal size of the shoes significantly exceeds L. Considering the field outside the shoes to be equal to zero, determine the energy converted into heat for the cases when the transverse size of the shoes is L0>L and when L0<L.
