19. Give the reaction equations for the quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide (Mg 34.01) by permanganatometry. Specify the indicator, the transition of its color at the end point of the titration.
A. Calculate the molar mass of the equivalent, the titer for the analyte, a sample of 3.0% hydrogen peroxide solution, so that 5.0 ml of 0.1 mol/l (UCH 1/5 KMnO4) solution of potassium permanganate (K = 1.02) is used for titration .
b. Calculate the content of hydrogen peroxide in the preparation (%) if 10.0 ml of the analyzed sample was brought to the mark with water in a volumetric flask with a capacity of 100.0 ml. 18.9 ml of 0.1 mol/l (UC 1/5 KMPO4) solution of potassium permanganate (K=0.98) was used for titration of 10.0 ml of an aliquot of the resulting solution.
V. Calculate the volume of 0.1 mol/l (UCH 1/5 KMnO4) solution of potassium permanganate (K=1.0), which will be used for titration of 2.7% hydrogen peroxide solution, if 10.0 ml of the preparation was brought to the mark with water in a volumetric flask with a capacity of 50.0 ml. A 5.0 ml aliquot was taken for titration.
