2cyt c(red) 1/2O2 2H = 2cyt c(ox) H2O, E0 (25 °C, pH = 7) = 0.562 V.
Calculate the standard Gibbs energy of this reaction. In what direction will the reaction go when the acidity of the solution changes to: (a) pH = 4. (b) pH = 9?
