Calculate the average shift X of spherical particles of aluminum oxide in water and the rate of their sedimentation under the following conditions: temperature T = 293K, viscosity of the medium η = 1 10-3 Pa s; density of the dispersed phase ρ = 3.9 103 kg/m3; density of the dispersion medium ρо =1·103 kg/m3. Compare the sedimentation stability of disperse systems with particle sizes of 10-6 and 10-9 m.
