A potential difference U = 6 kV is applied to a flat air condenser, the area of the plates of which is S = 4800 cm² and the distance between them is d₁ = 1 cm. Then, without disconnecting the capacitor from the source, the distance between the plates was increased to d₂ = 2 cm. Determine the work performed in this case and the volumetric energy density of the electric field before w and after w₁ the plates were moved apart.
