A beam of flatly polarized light, the wavelength of which in the vacuum is 2980 Å, falls on a plate of Iceland spar perpendicular to its optical axis. Find the wavelengths of ordinary and extraordinary rays in a crystal, if the refractive indices of Iceland spar for ordinary and extraordinary rays are equal to 1.66 and 1.49 respectively.
