The "Celtic Culture" expansion adds three new playable factions to Total War: ATTILA. The Picts, Caledonians, and Ebdanians can be used in single-player and multiplayer campaigns, as well as custom and online battles.

Cultural Traits (Celts)
Celtic troops specialize in ambush attacks and possess the "Autonomy" trait. This allows the Celts to deploy any of their troops almost anywhere on the battlefield—even behind enemy lines. Celtic warriors are highly specialized, so don´t expect them to cope in every situation. But an experienced commander will let them showcase their strengths and deliver a fatal blow.
Where best to put these traits to use than in brigandage, plunder, and raids? For the Celts, these are the primary sources of income, which is reflected in many aspects of their playstyle and the bonuses they receive.

A Unique Campaign with a Unified Story: The Saga of the Ollam King
Playing as these factions, players gain access to a new series of events with a unified storyline. The Saga of the Ollam King draws heavily on Celtic mythology, and in it, you control the actions of the celebrated hero, making periodic choices throughout the narrative. Near the end of the story, the Ollam King becomes available to you as the commander of your army, with the decisions you made previously determining the traits he receives.

Celtic Troops
All three factions share a common Celtic troop roster, consisting of various troop types across three ranks. These include, for example, spearmen with hounds (fearsome war dogs), heavy Mormaer cavalry, and the Servants of Scathach—elite light infantry. In addition to the general roster, each faction has its own distinct army.

Unique Buildings
The resourceful Celts benefit from a unique agricultural chain that is independent of fertility. Pens can be upgraded to Stockyards and then to Summer Pastures, producing self-sufficient herds of livestock.
Another unique feature of the Celtic factions is the new raiding chain, which provides a unique playstyle. The Raiders´ Gathering Ground can be upgraded to the Raiders´ Assembly, Raiders´ Camp, and finally the Raiders´ Hall.

New Mechanic: Prestige Buildings
The "Celtic Culture" expansion adds three new tier 5 buildings, unlocked through a new gameplay mechanic. The Bard´s Hall, the Temple of Belen, and the Central Market provide significant bonuses, and to unlock them, in addition to technological requirements, the player must fulfill certain gameplay requirements by achieving great deeds in religion, trade, and military affairs.
